Identifying the Complex
Many of the issues we as a nation face today are sufficiently complex that it is difficult to determine what we as a country should do about them. However, sometimes very important issues lend themselves to simple common sense analysis and in those cases it is important that we seize the common sense conclusion and not allow ourselves to be distracted by more convoluted arguments, especially arguments of an ideological nature. In those cases where complexity really does exist it is important that it be identified and its impact on the decision making process and the decisions themselves be understood.
